About Jack Getze

Jack Getze is an American author and former reporter. Getze is a fiction editor for Anthony nominated Spinetingler Magazine, which is one of the Internet's oldest web sites dedicated for crime, noir, and horror stories. He is a former reporter for both the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner (a major Los Angeles daily newspaper published from Mondays through Fridays in the afternoon and from Saturdays and Sundays in the morning) and the Los Angeles Times (a daily newspaper published in Los Angeles which at one point became the largest metropolitan newspaper in circulation in the United States).

Jack Getze has spent nearly a decade working as a reporter for the Los Angeles Times. He spent a total of twelve years covering national business and economic news for the Los Angeles Times, the London Times, as well as the Los Angeles Hearld-Examiner. He later sold stocks and bonds for a regional securities company headquartered on the New Jersey Shore.

Jack Getze's Austin Carr Mysteries which are entitled "Big Number" and "Big Money" were re-issued by Down and Out Books in the year 2013. His upcoming books, "Big Mojo" and "Big Shoes", are scheduled to be released in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Furthermore, his short stories have appeared in "A Twist Of Noir", "Beat To A Pulp", "The Big Adios", as well as the airline magazine entitled "Passages".
